Bird x Butterfly
Bird x Butterfly is a Korean-American duo composed of Chicago singer-songwriters Frances Kang and Paul Kim. Together, they create indie-pop that blends ethereal soundscapes and introspective lyrics with haunting, harmonizing vocals. Their genre-bending music is often inspired by the beauty of nature and the complexity of the human experience — like their latest single “White (As We Speak)” and their first single “Monarch,” which was highlighted as one of NPR’s favorite entries for its 2021 Tiny Desk Contest.
