ring-shoutRing Shout first formed around a group of musicians from different musical traditions – folk, blues, rock, world – wanting to try their hands at interpreting traditional jazz songs and creating new, jazz based material reflecting varied musical experiences.

The band is currently working on their first CD, “Moorish Sunrise”, due to be released in December or January.

Ring Shout today strives for the best in collective improvisation across a range of musical styles including jazz, funk, rock, blues and reggae.
