For local craft beer lovers, the wait is almost over. Tickets are now on sale for the summer’s big event: the 5th Annual Craft Brew Festival in Horner Park on Friday evening, July 21st. Sponsored by the Horner Park Advisory Council, The Horner Brew Fest is the largest of its kind on the northwest side of Chicago – this year featuring over 30 local craft brewers and an array of food trucks.
Held under the trees on the front lawn of beautiful Horner Park, it’s the perfect opportunity to reconnect with friends and neighbors while enjoying live music and sampling the best local beers and ciders available. And it’s all for a good cause. The Brew Fest is a fundraiser to support the sustainability initiatives in Horner Park.
Last year’s proceeds were used for the continued preservation of the park’s 79 critically-endangered ash trees. This year’s objectives are for additional improvements along the park’s restored river front and get Horner Park recognized as an internationally-accredited arboretum.
