What you need to know about the Horner Park Farmers Market:
- Location:
- Horner Park, 2741 W. Montrose Ave., Chicago, IL 60618 Map
- In the northwest corner of the park, the area bounded by Montrose Avenue (N) and California Avenue (W), in front of the Field House.
- Horner Park is part of the Chicago Park District.
- Hours:
- Setup 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM
- Open 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Takedown 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
- Dates:
- Our weekly market will be held on Saturdays from June 3 through October 14, 2023.
- Covid 19 Protocols:
- The market follows current federal, state, county, city, and Chicago Park District Covid-19 protocols.
- Fees:
- $35 application fee (non-refundable)
- $30 for a space of approximately 11’x11’, fitting a 10’x10’ canopy; $10 for each additional adjacent space, up to 3 total spaces
($30 for 1 space, $40 for 2 adjacent spaces, $50 for 3 adjacent spaces) - $40 for a food truck space
- Vendors who sign up and pay for the entire season in advance pay for 18 markets instead of all 20.
- Deadline: Applications are due April 1, 2023 for first consideration. Applications are accepted throughout the season if there is available space.
- Submission:
- ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION PREFERRED. Please send your completed application and supporting documents to: FarmersMarket@hornerpark.org.
- Upon receipt, you will receive an electronic invoice for the $35 application fee. Applications will only be reviewed once the application fee has been paid.
- Manual submissions also accepted.
- Please make your $35 check payable to: Horner Park Advisory Council
