Garden Committee: No report

Concert Committee: No report

Park Briefs: There were no representatives from the Horner Park Staff.

Ravenswood Manor Park: After evaluating the damage to the bushes around the pergola. Anne Rozmin determined that the plants will survive. The Manor Garden Club has offered to hold a pruning seminar in the spring at which time they will prune the damaged branches. We are still waiting for input from the CPD on the drainage issue in the park. A tree dedication will be held at the park honoring 2 trees that were planted in memoriam earlier this year. The Ravenswood Manor Improvement Association (RMIA) has installed the holiday light decorations on the pergola. Many thanks to the RMIA for adding this touch of festivity to the park.

Horner Park: There has been no update on the retaining wall at the play lot.

Buffalo Park: A letter forwarded to the Council from Terry Sweeney, Horner Park Supervisor, was read by Anne Rozmin. This letter contained the CPD cost estimates for the council circle plan. The estimate came in at $ 49,500.00. This included a lawn hydrant at over $ 20,000.00. The council had never requested this feature in the budget. The Council feels that this budget did not accurately reflect the plan. The Council will ask Mike Emerson of VOA to put together a budget that better reflects the correct features of the plan. At that time the Council will evaluate what steps will be required to implement the council ring.

Jacob Park: No report

Sunken Garden Park: The sewer project has apparently been completed. Mulch will be requested for the spring.

Horner Park Riverbank Initiative: No report

Adjournment: Jerry Giese thanked all those in attendance and the meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m.

Respectfully submitted, Larry Brown
